Second Life by S.J. Watson

From Goodreads: The sensational new psychological thriller from the bestselling author of Before I Go To Sleep.

She loves her husband. She's obsessed by a stranger.

She's a devoted mother. She's prepared to lose everything.

She knows what she's doing. She's out of control.

She's innocent. She's guilty as sin.

She's living two lives. She might lose both . . .

I cannot tell you how excited I was when I received this book for review. I absolutely loved Before I Go To Sleep and could not wait to read more from this author. Here goes my review.

Things I liked:
1) I still love the way SJ writes. It so dark and captivating.

2) I loved learning about the cyber sex world. It was something I knew happened but it was nice to learn more about it.

3) I felt like the book took off so well. It drew you in the beginning.

Things I was not fond of:
1) Julia- I felt like she was super unlikable. I did not connect with her what so ever.

2) At times I felt like this book was rather boring. In the beginning it was so addicting but some parts in the middle and end were just not necessary in my opinion.

3) The ending was really not my favorite.

With all this being said, I did not absolutely hate this book. I felt like It was well written still. I would recommend this if you have read SJ Watson's other book. If you loved Before I Go To Sleep do not have higher hopes for this because I  don't think that book can be repeated because it was so great!

My rating: ♥♥♥♥
* I received this from Edelweiss for review purposes*

  1. It's too bad that Second Life didn't match Before I Go To Sleep, that was a page turner for me. I got a copy from the library so will still read it, but it is nice to be forewarned. Thanks for the honest review.
